This commissioned piece was created to memorialize the parents of one of my clients. It was designed to be hung in the Good Shepherd School in New Orleans in front of the window in a common eating/praying area.

Good Shepherd is a non-profit school that was founded by Father Harry Thompson, S.J. (deceased) to provide an excellent education (tuition is paid by others) in a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk children in New Orleans who are admitted from families living in poverty.

The effect of this exceptional academic opportunity is to empower these children by providing them with the tools to break away from the cycle of poverty into which they were born.
