Stained glass skylights also help to reduce heating and cooling expenses. For example, the two skylights shown below are side by side on the same roof. The temperature inside the well of the left skylight, immediately after the panel was installed, registered 7° to 8°F lower than the inside of the right well before the installation of that panel.
